Stunning Tamagroute pottery candlestick. The handmade, rustic and classic green glaze of these items just ticks all our boxes and we were so thrilled to discover them for the shop.
The name of this pottery derives from the village where it is traditionally made. The village of Tamegroute is in Morocco; located 18km south of Zagora on the ancient road of Timbuktu, in the Draa Valley. These beautiful clay work technique is an inherited art, handed down from father to son over generations. Tamegroute pottery is celebrated in many forms but always with its unique green color glaze.
Each piece is completely unique - some stand at slight angles, some have glaze cracks - all are completely wonderful. A statement piece for your home decoration.
The larger statement candlesticks are aprox 38cm tall and 30cm at the widest point.
