FRENCH ANTIQUE WOODEN SCREW CLAMP

Rustic wooden carpentry screw clamps - affectionately called Pierre and Jacques!

This stunning example of a French woodworking clamp, with a wonderful turning action. 
These would make a lovely addition to a vintage display and we also like to use them as a quirky bedside book holder. 

Pierre is a little more petite - the clamp measuring 26x18cm with the screw part  measuring aprox 36cm. 

Jacques is a little larger - the clamp measuring 28x21cm with the screw part  measuring aprox 31cm. 

they are priced the same.

The turning handles move well and extend the length depending on how you want to set it. 
There are very few marks or damage considering the age. 
These really are really lovely finds!
