ANCIENT WOODEN PANEL

Simply stunning and unique vintage wooden panel.
These panels were hand carved and used to make clay relief temple friezes in Sri Lanka many moons ago.

They are so beautifully detailed whist being primitive in form too.
We have left them untreated as this is how we like them - but a little wax could also be applied if you wish.

This panel measures 70cm wide and 65cm tall.
It is 9cm deep.

These pieces are very heavy, but could be wall mounted if the right fixings were in place.
They also work beautifully as a statement piece of leaning wall art. As the light changes through the day, the surface pattern changes beautifully too.
